Prof. Sabater (>200 publications, H-Index=47) is a highly experienced and active researcher in the field of soil Nitrogen cycle and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. He has a strong background on soil Nitrogen cycle in wetlands and riparian ecosystems and has been involved in many European projects and international networks on GHG emissions from wetlands. His research focuses on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, nutrient cycling in freshwater ecosystems and riparian forests.
