The relationship between humans and their environment concerns me as much as it excites me.

I studied Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and specialised in ecosystem restoration at the University of Alcalá. Currently, thanks to an FPU contract, I work at CREAF as a pre-doctoral researcher on the ELEMENTALSHIFT project. We study the changes in the composition of nutrients and other elements that have been occurring in ecosystems during the course of the Anthropocene, seeking to warn of these changes as a planetary boundary to be taken into account. I am passionate about researching the past through the lens of ecology, but I also consider it very relevant to ground our warning signs in necessary changes in today's society.

If you would like to know more about the research or ask questions or propose initiatives in which we put the impact of our work into practice, please do not hesitate to contact me.
