His main field of interest is pesticide ecotoxicology, mostly related with wild bees, honey bees and wild pollinators. He holds a BSc in Biology from the Complutense University de Madrid (2015) and has completed a MSc in Agriculture-Plant science at the University of Copenhagen (2019). Since October 2020 he has been studying for a PhD in Terrestrial Ecology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in collaboration with CREAF, an experience he describes as "an exciting project". The team he is part of aims at understanding the effects of agricultural pesticides on solitary bees (Osmia sp.), both at an individual and population level. He is also passionated about and has worked with agricultural pests, natural enemies and plant-microbe interactions.
