My name is Ignasi Camps, and I’m from Catalonia, Spain. I studied Physics and later
completed a Master's in Modeling for Science and Engineering. My research focuses on modeling real-world scenarios, and I have specialized in Agent-Based Models (ABM). Recently, I have been accepted into a PhD program, Investigating the Non-Linear Dynamics of Biogeochemical Cycles in all types of ecosystems under increasing stress driven by global change. This research line is of great interest to me, as understanding and protecting ecosystems should be a priority.

During my academic journey, I also worked at IIIA (CSIC) with a JAE Intro scholarship, gaining experience in computational modeling.

Beyond my academic career, I have training and experience in canine behavior. I worked in the dog behavior team at CAACB, where my approach is based on understanding each individual and, without using aversive methods, helping dogs better manage challenging situations and improve their emotional well-being.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, hiking, and traveling. I also love music and going to concerts.
