EDM

The main aim of the Elemental Diversity and Macroecology (EDM) research team is to investigate how the elemental composition of organisms determines how they function: from individuals to ecosystems and from local to global scales. We investigate the changes in global biogeochemical cycles due to global change and its impacts on organisms and ecosystems. We are also interested in natural history and conduct long-term monitoring of spring ecosystems across Catalonia.
