Success Stories

CREAST

CREAST is a young growing company dedicated to calculating and reducing the carbon and water footprint generated by the entertainment industry, from concerts to the filming of series and films. This industry is one of the most environmentally impactful, with numbers similar to those of the textile industry.

From the beginning, CREAF has acted as an exceptional consultant to this innovative company, working together to plan the next steps. Both entities have signed an agreement to develop new indicators that allow the calculation of an ecosystemic footprint more focused on biodiversity and the resilience of the landscapes affected by this industry.

Replantegem

On its way to becoming the first CREAF spin-off, Replantegem's multidisciplinary team works to improve the city's urban space, greening it, favoring native fauna and flora, improving citizen health, promoting changes both in public and private space, and promoting more sustainable mobility. They also sensitize the population through projects adapted to different sectors.

An important part of the knowledge that this future company will use comes from CREAF's basic research on urban ecology. Thanks to this team of entrepreneurs, this knowledge is put into practice, generating real changes towards sustainability.
