EUROSOIL 2025

The 'VII EUROSOIL 2025 & X Congreso ibérico de la ciencia del suelo' will gather soil experts, policymakers, and land managers to discuss sustainable soil management and its key role in tackling climate and biodiversity challenges under the motto 'Living within the planetary boundaries'. CREAF will take active part in it, presenting three posters. 

In particular, Rubén Olmo Gilabert will present the poster: "Exploring soil biodiversity patterns through a multi-taxa and multi-environmental lens". Meanwhile, scientific officer Mercedes Ibañez Raffaele, researcher Pau Montero Estaña, scientific officer Irene Raya Moreno, researcher Vicenç Carabassa Closa, and researcher Xavier Domene Casadesús will present the poster: "Comparing the performance of biochar co-compost with compost in the formulation of technosols for the restoration of degraded areas".

Finally, scientific officers Matias Pons Andreu, Miriam Florit and Roc Borrell Llovera, scientific officer Dr. Maria Josep Broncano, researcher Javier Retana Alumbreros, researcher  Sara Marañón Jiménez and researcher Xavier Domene Casadesús will present the REGENERA.CAT project: "Cultivating the land with real farmers to combat climate change and withstand drought".
