Work project providing advice to the Barcelona Zoo on captive breeding efforts for the Pityusic lizard. Studies and reports are prepared to assess the viability of its populations, as well as to identify priority conservation areas and lineages to be included in the captive breeding program. Finally, joint work is also carried out on the design of exclusion zones where lizard populations can be maintained in Ibiza, in enclosures specially designed to keep out predatory snakes that threaten the survival of this endangered species.
