Hello, my name is Gina Granados and I studied the degree in environmental biology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the master's degree in ecology, management and restoration of the natural environment at the University of Barcelona (UB) , with which I had the opportunity to carry out an international internship at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) . In Quebec, I joined the EcoTer Lab research team to study the impacts of climate change on sap exudation in maples, specifically in sugar maple ( Acer saccharum ) and red maple ( Acer rubrum ). Within CREAF I will be part of the ARSEC and BCCB projects, where I will collaborate in the study of the effects of climate change on the urban trees of Barcelona and in the evaluation, planning and promotion of measures to improve the resilience of the city's greenery against future climatic conditions. In addition, I will also work on issues of citizen science, environmental education, and scientific dissemination.
