Severo Ochoa predoctoral researcher at CREAF, my research focuses on the study of emissions of biogenic volatile organic compounds in forest and urban environments

After graduating in Biology and Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna, I spent a year working in the environmental analysis sector. Currently, I am a Severo Ochoa PhD fellow at CREAF, where my research focuses on the study of biogenic volatile organic compound (BVOC) emissions in forest and urban environments, with particular interest in their role in atmospheric chemistry, air quality, and potential links to human health. I integrate ecological and atmospheric perspectives, contributing to both field measurements and the interpretation of data related to biosphere–atmosphere exchanges.
