FLOh!RA awards ceremony and screening of the documentary The Giants

On May 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the final event of the FLOh!RA project will take place in the UAB cinema, coinciding with Plant Fascination Day , an international initiative that highlights the importance of plants for life on the planet.

The session is open to everyone , but places are limited, so you must register in advance using the form.

Next, the documentary The Giants will be screened , an internationally awarded film that addresses the fight to preserve primary forests that are over 65 million years old in Lutruwita (Tasmania). The documentary follows the career of activist Bob Brown and the birth of the Australian environmentalist party, highlighting the beauty of forests and the scientific knowledge about their functioning.
