I have a background in Biosystems Engineering and completed my PhD at CREAF, focusing on forest ecophysiology. My research aims to understand how plants and forest ecosystems respond to climate change, particularly in relation to drought and atmospheric processes, as well as the underlying ecophysiological mechanisms.

In recent years, I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I am now back at CREAF, where over the next two years I will be developing the HYDRECO project. The main goal is to study intraspecific variability in plant hydraulic traits and their potential to improve predictions of forest responses to a changing climate across Europe.
