Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso and a Master's in Terrestrial Ecology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I am…

I investigate long-term climate variability in the Iberian Mediterranean region by combining dendrochronological and historical records within the framework of the DENDROHIST project. I am part of a multidisciplinary research group that integrates tree-ring data, historical flood episodes, and climate models to identify atmospheric patterns and the recurrence of extreme events, such as droughts and floods.

My work aims to better understand past climate, compare it with the present, and anticipate the future impacts of climate change on society and water resources. In the long term, the results can inform sustainable water management policies, improve preparedness for extreme climate events, and provide insights into the region’s cultural heritage through a dendroarchaeological approach.

On a personal level, I enjoy outdoor activities and sports. I like exploring the architecture of Catalonia on foot and spending time with friends in cafés.
