Neus Sanmartí Boixeda
I hold a PhD in Marine Ecology from the University of Barcelona (2020). In my doctoral thesis, I studied positive interactions and the resilience of seagrass ecosystems. For nearly 20 years, I have been involved in projects focused on the ecology and conservation of benthic marine communities in the Mediterranean Sea. In the field of education, I have taught as an adjunct lecturer in the Bachelor's Degree in Marine Sciences and the Master's Degree in Oceanography and Marine Environment Management at the University of Barcelona.
I am also a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF, 2018). Since 2019, I have supported individuals and teams in defining goals, improving communication, and managing change.
I joined CREAF in June 2026 as a Academic Talent and Gender Officer, supporting initiatives aimed at fostering a positive research culture, talent development, and well-being.
The bookshelves in my home reflect my passion for human development. I find calm beneath the sea, but also in the mountains, through reading, and in sports. My young nieces and nephews fill me with energy, and I practice triathlon as an amateur, more focused on enjoying the journey than on speed.
