My name is Àntar (he / they). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB, 2023) and a Master's degree in Ecology from the University of Barcelona (UB, 2024).

I have worked at CREAF as a research technician on several projects within the Water, Forests, Biodiversity and Agroecosystems (ABBA) research group, conducting field surveys in old-growth forests across Catalonia, monitoring habitat conservation status, analysing ecosystem services, and participating in forest stewardship projects. I am currently part of the MEMED project within the EcoPhys research group (Functional Ecophysiology and Biogeography of Terrestrial Ecosystems), where we study methane fluxes in Mediterranean forests.

In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, mountain biking, and writing poetry.
