Predoctoral researcher

Anaïs Jolivet

PhD candidate modelling mountain social-ecological systems, and research technician in the PYRENEES4CLIMA project.

I hold a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Ecology, Environmental Management and Restoration from the University of Barcelona (2020, 2021). I am completing my PhD in Terrestrial Ecology, supervised by Bernat Claramunt (UAB-CREAF) and Miguel Lurgi (Swansea University), where I use quantitative methods to model the interactions and dynamics of mountain social-ecological systems to understand their current and future sustainability challenges.

I currently work as a research technician in the LIFE-PYRENEES4CLIMA project at the MountainLab, integrating and analysing multidisciplinary data to assess climate change impacts across the Pyrenees, and building a decision-support tool for climate adaptation.

Beyond my own research, I am interested in inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to sustainability science.
