Transforming Agroecosystems Together | Framework Project

13 May 11:00 14 May 11:00 15 May 11:00

Join remotely from anywhere at the Czech University of Life Sciences for three days of thematic webinar sessions to choose from!

The sessions will offer interdisciplinary insights and learnings on collective and technical approaches to enhance ecosystem services and biodiversity on farmland at the landscape scale across Europe and the UK.

Berta Giralt will take part in the second session to present the Recodo Data Hub and explain how accessibility has been a key design focus.

These webinars draw on the experience and expertise of the H2020 FRAMEwork project, sharing knowledge gathered over five years.

Tuesday 13 May – Session 1: Introduction and farmer cluster experiences

Discover FRAMEwork’s approach to promoting biodiversity-friendly farming through farmer groups. Background, benefits, and real examples from clusters in Czechia and Austria are shared, with direct reflections from facilitators and farmers.

Wednesday 14 May – Session 2: Tools and platforms to empower knowledge

A look into practical methods, resources, and tools to support collective action and citizen science in agriculture. Training materials, monitoring protocols, and the FEAST tool are highlighted. Digital platforms like Recodo and the FRAMEwork Data Hub are also introduced to foster data and knowledge sharing.

Thursday 15 May – Session 3: Clusters in context: systems, incentives, and assessment

This session explores the socio-ecological context of farmer clusters—from land abandonment to habitat modelling. It examines agrobiodiversity valuation, public and private incentives, and concludes with impact and sustainability assessment methods and a forward-looking discussion.

You can find full session details on the Framework Biodiversity website.
