After a year and a half away, I am rejoining CREAF, this time as a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher with Josep María Espelta's group. During my PhD at CREAF, I studied the response of Mediterranean forests to drought through a long-term rainfall exclusion experiment. I come from a postdoc at CTFC where I studied the current and future vulnerability of Pinus sylvestris and Pinus nigra to bark beetles and pathogens due to climate change using species distribution models. With the Juan de la Cierva fellowship, I will study recruitment in Mediterranean forests after droughts.
