Marta Valles Casellas
Research assistant in fieldwork for the SISEHAB project. Graduated in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, I have completed the CFGS in Forestry and Environmental Management.
I am offering support to the field technician of the SISEHAB project, Ignasi. The project consists of evaluating and monitoring the conservation status of the habitats of Catalonia. In order to properly define the strategies and decisions to be taken in relation to natural heritage. A task on the ground where scientific rigor is transformed into direct action to protect our ecosystems. Aligning my daily work with the personal commitment to respond to current environmental challenges and the climate emergency in order to guarantee a sustainable future for nature.
Outside the professional sphere, I maintain a very active lifestyle. I am passionate about the mountain in all its forms and whenever I can I escape to make a route or climb.
