I've always been fascinated by how nature protects us from disturbances, which is why I'm working to disentangle the properties of forest resilience to climate-induced drought. My project is supported by a Doctoral INPhINIT fellowship from the "la Caixa" Foundation. In addition, I am interested in forest ecophysiology and remote sensing.

I have three master's degrees, one of which is a double degree with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. I have worked in academia as an Assistant Professor (Forestry subject) and have also left my mark in international and national NGOs in Bangladesh.

I am originally from Bangladesh. I enjoy traveling, walking in nature, and, of course, trying new foods (but nothing too exotic!).
