CREAF

CREAF is seeking for a technician/web developer for developing the CREAF for the LIFE REDBOSQUES_CLIMA project (“Nature-based solutions to improve adaptation of forests to climate change”), with ref. LIFE20 CCA/ES/001624, financed by the European Commission.

A full-time contract is offered (37,5h week), which will finalize when the tasks involved are completed. The estimated duration of the contract will be at least 5 months starting from February 20th 2023. The salary offered is 2.004,07€ gross per month.

TASKS:
- Extend the functionality of the existing Redbosques tool code to include the module of vulnerability to climate change of mature forests.
- Maintenance of database (including backup) and gradual upgrade of Redbosques platform underlying software.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in web page development (HTML, CSS and Javascript).
- Experience in relational database systems and SQL language.
- Experience with the Python framework Django.
- Knowledge of Python programming language.
- Teamwork skills.
- Correctly spoken and written Catalan and Spanish.

ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS:

- Knowledge in Linux server management.
- Basic GIS knowledge.
- Experience in usage of open source software.
- Good writing and reading English skills.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA:

1.
