In the frame of the ‘Open-Earth-Monitor’ project launch, the consortium led by OpenGeoHub foundation is organizing the very first public workshop around ‘Innovative governance, environmental observations and digital solutions in support of the European Green Deal’ on July 19th in the international University campus of Wageningen, the Netherlands (you can also follow it online!). As the first of a series of interactive meetings, this day aims to bring together Earth Observation and Data experts from business, policy and academia with the community of practice, and connect with potential end-users of the future platforms developed by the project.
The ‘Open-Earth-Monitor’ is a Horizon2020 that aims at facilitating and accelerating the uptake of key environmental data by a diverse community of users in the field of research, decision-making, and practitioners, including landholders and citizens, in support of effective decisions and impactful actions on the ground. The project's consortium is formed by 23 international organizations, research institutes and private businesses from Europe and beyond, among them CREAF.
