The BioSphera group is committed to linking the research carried out in the academia with the society, and developing citizen science strategies and tools to create or participate in projects where the observation of the natural and/or cultural heritage is the main objective.
We are interested in working with various components of the society, and we have projects with the different actors that are part of it: from educational centers to official bodies. We are part of the Natusfera developers, an platform that allows any person or organization to generate their own projects and in which citizen participation is indispensable; and we continue to make improvements.
We participate in the main citizen science associations of the world (European, Australian and American), where we focus on aspects such as the control of the quality of the data and their scientific exploitation. At the same time, we contribute in projects where other participatory platforms must be used
