National Projects
Project duration:
Oct 2018 to Nov 2018

The main objective of this project is to promote improvements in the conservation of nocturnal birds, amphibians and orchids in the southwestern area of the Montseny natural park.

Introduction

These groups of living beings have in common that they are under the threat of the effects of the current global change. In addition, there are groups that have been given little attention from a point of view of conservation actions, little information is available about the state of conservation of their populations in the natural park of the Montseny massif.

From the contact with people in the study area, it will be done a diagnosis of the places where potentially owls, orchids and amphibians are potentially found. As a result, there will be actions to improve their points of reproduction as well as actions of environmental awareness to raise consciousness of people.
