CREAF

CREAF needs to incorporate a graphic designer for the LIFE12 ENV/ES/000536 MEDACC project ("Demonstration and validation of innovative methodology for regional climate change adaptation in the Mediterranean sea", funded by the European Commission). The contracted person will be in charge of the design and layout of the final dissemination materials of the project, keeping its corporate image, and in charge as well of contact and management with the print shop of the printing and delivery of the final products in the established terms and time. The contract will be half-day during the months of May and June 2018.

TASKS

1. Design of dissemination materials, based on the information provided by the partners, following the corporate image and the previous products generated by the project.
2. Layout of dissemination materials in different languages.
3. Contact and management with the printing company for obtaining the final products in the established terms and time.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Graphic designer with experience in multidisciplinary work.
2. Training and demonstrable experience in the design and layout of dissemination materials, especially related with topics of adaptation to climate change.
3. Good level of writing in English, Catalan and Spanish.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA
The selection process is led by the research project team, and will be overseen by the Management Office and the Human Resources Area of CREAF. This process consists of:

1. Admission of candidates: applicants must submit a résumé, a cover letter (maximum 500 words) and the questionnaire attached to the offer, by e-mail to laboral@creaf.uab.cat, until April 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., indicating the reference code of the offer. Applications referred to another portal, other than CREAF job openings section and the instructions included in this, will not be accepted.
2. Pre-selection: determination of compliance with the minimum requirements of the offer.
3. Selection: assessment of the preselected candidates by scoring based on objective criteria.
4. Final decision: in case of finding the right person, the election will be formally communicated to him/her, and the identification of the chosen person will be published on CREAF job openings section.
